OCD
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a chronic mental health condition characterized by persistent, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) that an individual feels driven to perform. These obsessions and compulsions significantly interfere with daily activities and cause marked distress.

Symptoms of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) include persistent, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) that cause significant anxiety, and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) that the individual feels driven to perform to reduce this anxiety. Common obsessions include fears of contamination, intrusive aggressive thoughts, and a need for symmetry. Compulsions often involve excessive cleaning, checking, counting, or arranging.
